Feng Shui Interiors To Increase Health & Wealth

Feng Shui can come in the form of spacial arrangement, aesthetics and energy flow.

Weather your a believer in Feng Shui or not, there is some proven truths as to why it works.

Here we’ve traced back as to how these elements translate into interior design and how you can apply these concepts in a practical way.

So if your moving into a new house or thinking about renovating,

then take this chance to see how you can implement these concepts for a more balanced home that promotes health and prosperity.

Wealth

First you’ve got to find your money spot. Which means the area in your house that makes you money, ie: your home office, study area, library, where ever you do your work or store valued goods.

Once you’ve determined that, you’ll want to focus on elements that enhance your psyche for productivity, focus  and showcasing your character.

The best way to make more money is by optimizing your home office to putting you in the most productive mindset possible.

Your working space should be spacious enough to accommodate for all your things, this will prevent you from having to keep moving to get stuff done.

It’s worth noting that having high ceilings is optimal if you do a lot of creative thinking, whereas lower ceilings are more ideal for focus oriented tasks.

Position the main working area in a space that is in the center of the room or has visual access to all parts of the room without having to move your head around.

This instills a sense of power and control in you, your work space should be an area that promotes creativity, determination and direction.

Aesthetics:

De-clutter your space by installing built in furniture, its easier to focus when there are less distractions around.

Only keep the things of importance on display, this improves the overall quality of your space and showcases character.

This means putting up things that reflect your interests, weather family pictures, favorite art pieces, or even your vinyl record collection, anything of relevance to you and brings you joy, make this space your own.

In the case of your money making space, you should decorate it with elements that  signify wealth.

This can be done by using solid wood furniture, perhaps lined with gold profiling along cabinets, or even ornaments of display like expensive paintings, past awards, gold bars etc.

These stimulus puts you in a very goal oriented mindset as well as surround you with reference experience of times where you did things right.

This can help immensely in bringing you out of mental ruts.

This concept of “Priming” has been used by many successful athletes, celebrities  and entrepreneurs of all kind.

It not only motivates you but enhances the rate at which you learn,

Symbology:

the power symbols have on our psyche is widely misunderstood or unknown.

Symbols stimulate thoughts, insights and awaken the deeper part of the mind.

Having symbols that have personal meaning to you can help remind you of your inner worth and connect you to your spiritual roots.

That is why region lords had house banners in the old ages, their sigils were of metaphorical importance to the history of their clans.

This same concept can be applied to your home.

Be mindful of the things that capture your essence, as these are tell signs of uncovering the inner nature of your mysterious spirit.

Health

Have you ever realized that some places have a very rejuvenating effect on you while other spaces just bring down your energy?

That’s the power that design has on our perception, it influences our mood, psyche and well being.

By combining all the goodness into one wholesome unit, your home must provide you an environment that is healthy and nourishing and resourceful.

The meaning of Feng Shui stands for “wind & water”, and its all about directing the flow of energy through your home.

Circulation:

One way to think about this is “circulation”, which is something architects and designers put a great deal of thought into and is one of the primary principles in creating buildings with significant meaning.

After all humans “move” through space and that’s how we behave in an enclosed environment. So it doesn’t matter how well decorated your architecture is,

if the circulation is bad, it pretty much dictates the overall feel of the building.

Circulation is how the different spaces of the house connect to one another and it describes the relationship between them.

In terms of health and Feng Shui, you should think about the air flow within your home.

There are plenty of “passive design” strategies that help circulate natural air within your space.

By strategically placing inlets and outlets (windows and doors) you can create a constant stream of airflow within your home.

This helps remove carbon dioxide and hot air within your home and brings fresh outdoor air in a constant flow without the need of any mechanical cooling.

Having less artificially filtered air, improves the overall health of occupants within the space. Clean fresh air improves mood, better brain functioning and refreshes you.

With good airflow comes good circulation. Good circulation is having nice long transitioning corridors or hallways that follow that line of sight.

These are the transitioning spaces of the house and they carry your flow as you go from room to room, so its a good idea to to line them with nice art, indoor plants and even some running water features when possible.

Make sure these transitioning places are obstruction and clutter free as they inhibit the flow as you move through these spaces. Having wall cabinetry along these paths will assist in this.

This can be accompanied by adding some more color into your spaces, earthy tones, cooler palates to mix in rather than just “white occurrence”.

Just for a moment, imagine a space where you can finally breathe and exhale.

A space that supports you, your needs, your goals, and dreams.

Where everything is methodically designed for alignment, and to improve your health, prosperity, relationships, and overall happiness.

Conclusion:

So you see, Feng Shui is simply an ancient guide for organizing space by using universal principles of aesthetics, ergonomics and circulation.

By not focusing on the narrative or the specific terminology, you’ll tend to find out that the concepts in Feng Shui can be translated into architectural language to resemble the same idea in different ways.

It is a form of spiritual architecture that is designed with having the occupants in mind, how they will use that space and what they want to bring out within themselves.

It’s no wonder the vibes feel so good.
